Husband-and wife-team Christopher Cox and Grace Okereke launched Black Art And Design in 2018 as a space to explore the work of emerging and established black creatives in the arts.
B.A.A.D also makes art accessible offline by hosting Meetups in the world’s top museums, galleries and theatres showing the work of black creatives.

Inspired by the works coming out of London’s visual & performing arts scene, Christopher launched Black Art & Design as a personal blog in the winter of 2018. Born and raised in the United States He studied computer science at Morehouse College and lives in London with his wife and son.
